These Duchy bypass lopping shears feature a bypass (scissor) action. They are manufactured by craftsmen, solid forged from high quality carbon steel, precision ground and then sharpened to a fine cutting edge.

Duchy Cutting Tools are created using straight-grained ash sourced from Duchy of Cornwall estates in the UK and certified to FSC standards.This guarantees the highest quality of wood is used from sustainable sources.

The handles are hand barrel waxed to give the wood a natural and environmentally friendly protection against the elements.
